Get Involved with ITQB

itqb-welcome

There are many meaningful ways to get involved with ITQB as a volunteer. You can help organise events, raise awareness, support our operations, and contribute to the recognition of software testing as a profession in Iran.

Whether you are a testing professional, work in a related field, or simply believe in the value of quality and professionalism in IT, there is a place for you in our community.

ITQB Working Groups

Our Working Groups are at the heart of ITQB’s activities. They plan, coordinate and execute initiatives that support our mission and the ISTQB® certification scheme.

We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds. It is not required to work as a software tester to contribute. We have a variety of activities that rely on the time, expertise and enthusiasm of our volunteers.

ITQB Marketing Working Group

The ITQB Marketing Working Group plays a key role in increasing the visibility and recognition of ISTQB® and ITQB in Iran. We are looking for motivated volunteers who would like to help shape how we communicate with candidates, companies, universities and the wider IT community.

As a member of this Working Group, you can contribute in areas such as:

  • Creating and reviewing content for social media, newsletters and our website
  • Designing visuals, infographics and promotional material for exams and events
  • Supporting marketing campaigns for new certifications and ITQB initiatives
  • Helping to share success stories and best practices from our community
  • Supporting outreach to companies, training providers and academic partners

This is an ideal area for volunteers who enjoy communication, branding, digital marketing or storytelling and want to have a visible and positive impact on the growth of the software testing profession.

ITQB Adviser

ITQB Advisers are individuals or organisations who support us with strategic guidance and market insight. They help us establish and further develop the ISTQB® certification scheme in Iran and promote testing as a recognised profession.

As an Adviser, you can:

  • Share insight about the needs of the local IT and testing market
  • Connect ITQB with companies, training providers or universities
  • Support the introduction and adoption of ISTQB® certifications in organisations
  • Advise on opportunities for cooperation and growth

ITQB Community

Our community brings together people who are interested in software testing, quality and continuous improvement. You do not need to be an expert to contribute — curiosity and a willingness to share and learn are enough.

As part of the ITQB Community, volunteers can:

  • Initiate or moderate discussions about testing topics
  • Write or translate articles, summaries or learning materials
  • Help manage blogs, community spaces or Q&A platforms
  • Support online events, meetups or knowledge-sharing sessions
  • Answer questions from candidates and community members

Recognition and Benefits for Volunteers

We value and appreciate the time and effort that our volunteers invest in ITQB. To recognise your contribution, we offer a range of benefits, which may include:

  • Discounts on ISTQB® exams organised through ITQB
  • Reduced fees for selected ITQB events and activities
  • Recognition for individuals and supporting organisations
  • Opportunities to collaborate more closely with ITQB initiatives

Volunteering with ITQB is an opportunity to contribute to the profession, expand your network, develop new skills and be part of a growing testing community in Iran.
